Free Evaluation Lessons

Students will understand the spectrum of colors in light and the relationship between light and color. They will learn that the primary colors can be used to create other colors and to distinguish between light and paint colors.

Students will recognize that the electromagnetic spectrum describes a spectrum of electromagnetic wavelengths such as radio waves, microwaves, and x-rays. They will recognize that many of these types of waves are found in our daily lives, but that we can only see a part of the spectrum which we call the visible light spectrum. Students will compare the properties of electromagnetic waves with ocean and sound waves.
